Customer Review

Pros:
1. The case is sturdy and well constructed but the edges aren’t sharp so I won’t easily cut myself when working inside.
2. audio,IEEE1394,USB ports on top of case for easy access
3. tool-free mount of 2x 120mm case fans, great quality and easy to do
4. tool-free mount of 3.5″, 5.25″ drives, although the mounts are not as high quality as the rest of the case
5. many screws come with the case, I still have a few left over after putting in all the components.
6. black, clear side, cool looking

Cons:
1. The connectors for the audio ports on the top of the case are not long enough to reach the back end of the case, unfortunately that’s where the connector on my motherboard is. So I’ll need to purchase an extension cord separately
2. Doesn’t come with 120mm fans, so you need to shell out another + to get case fans. I strongly recommend 120mm Scythe S-Flex SFF21E of SFF21F ones.
3. The corners of the clear plastic panel on the side chipped/broke off before I starting installing the components, I just had to glue them back on.
4. the tool-free mounts for expansion cards don’t seem to hold the cards tightly in place, I’d prefer good old fashioned screws. I have a VGA bracket that connects to jumpers on my motherboard (ASUS M3N78 Pro) and mounts on an empty PCI slot of the case, so I expect the mounts to hold the bracket tightly in place but it’s not so right now.
5. A bit heavy, in case you need to move the case around quite frequently

update:
I replaced my stock CPU fan/heat sink assembly with a GeminiII S CPU cooler, what happened is that the CPU air duct touches the fan and hinders it’s operation. Fortunately I found that you can actually unscrew part of the air duct leaving a shorter air duct, problem solved! (The tower heatsink/fans still won’t fit without removing the air duct altogether though, but I knew that and went with GeminiII S for a low profile heatsink)

Great case at a great price. – Steven G. Croxton – Springfield, MO
Bought this for my first build 10 months ago. Plenty of room, both spacially and for expansion; accommodates 120mm fans; the top input panel (1 firewire, 2 USB, mic and headphone) is very convenient. And, IMO, it’s sharp looking. Cool black brushed metal front and gloss black all around save for one clear side. Solid yet light. You’ll be pleased…
